TWIN NOIR is a Post-Punk/Wave/EBM artist duo founded in Berlin in 2021, consisting of Cody Barcelona (voice, electronics, guitar) and Ian Volt (voice, bass). Their music oscillates between electronically monotonic sounds, expansive atmospheres, and melodic moments, combined with minimalist lyrics in German.
The sound is shaped by analog tape machine, sampler, guitars and theremin — creating a blend of Punk and Wave. Influences range from KRAFTWERK and DAF to EBM, Techno, Punk and Rock.
Live, TWIN NOIR impresses with energetic performances inspired by Berlin's club culture. They’ve performed in 17+ countries and were named one of the “50 most promising European artists” by Europelive.
